Robe midi asymétrique froncée en ivoire

Exactly as pictured and described. Not sure why I thought the material would be hard/smooth(!) It's slinky/jersey-type material, fully lined (or just 'thick'), so not see-through, and this, together with all the ruching, makes the bodycon fit comfortable and flexible. I bought an 8 for a looser fit as I do have curves (it's my normal size but with Oh Polly, I usually size down). I think I 'could' have sized down but I'm glad I didn't. I can wear this with or without a bra (34B) as I don't mind slight visibility of my 'shape' underneath(!) and the dress gives plenty of bust support (for me). But I did buy the almond slip dress from here just in case. It's a heavy dress (sign of good quality), so as usual, I'll point out that for hanger storage: it would be great if the straps felt more secure. No issues to date but I get paranoid by how thin they are. Stunning design and that's what I feel you're paying for (along with the higher quality). Not sure £50 is the correct price point. I reckon somewhere between £35-£40 would have been more realistic but it was worth it because I'll keep the dress a long time and it's versatile. Can dress up with the right shoes and jewellery or wear with pumps and a denim jacket for a casual-elegant look.
